Focal points are Important!
When you are running late or just feeling too lazy to apply your makeup but still need to look waken up. Just dab on a little concealer under your eyes, on the corners of your mouth and near your nose, it will instantly brighten up your face and you are good to go.
As an additional step, apply the same below your contour line and you can skip one step of contouring by using reverse contouring method.

Correct function of powders.
There are mainly two types of face powder – Loose powder and pressed powder, and they both come in matte and dewy finishes. Many people struggle to spot the difference and do not understand which one to use for what purpose.
Basically, Loose powder is used to set the makeup in place and make it long-lasting. It comes in both tinted and translucent forms, it is best to use as per your requirements. Translucent powders will not disturb the colour of your foundation and concealer, but if you want your dark circles or blemishes to be concealed more, you can use a tinted powder similar to the tone of your foundation and concealer.
Pressed powder, however, is best suited for touch-ups on the go. Also, a dewy finish gives a glowing appearance to the skin, and a matte one provides a porcelain look with fine textures, helps in minimizing the appearance of pores and shine-free look. Pressed powders are great to mattify the skin after sunscreens too!

Know the correct application for the bronzer.
Can’t spot the difference between contour and bronzer? No worries, we are here to clear out your doubts.
Although there is not much difference in the product of contour and bronzer but the placement of both are different. Bronzers are slight more warm toned.
Though it’s a common practice to apply bronzer with a fluffy brush on the hollow of your cheeks, it is a better idea to draw two inverted triangles on your cheeks with a bronzer. Blend it out, and you will have the perfect placement of bronzer that will give you chiselled feature with warm bronzed look.

Avoid the peeking of fuzz.
Applying foundation in downward strokes can help in concealing your facial hair. Almost all of us have a thin layer of hair on our face and applying foundation in an upward stroke makes the hair strands stand out. You may like your face to glow, but you may not want the same for fuzz.

Importance of correct primers.
Everyone knows the importance of skin prep before makeup application, including CTM and PRIMERS!!
Primers can make it or break it. If not chosen right, it can ruin the whole effort you put in to get the flawless looking makeup.
Make sure your primer compliments your foundation and skin type.
Whether oil or water or silicone, your primer and foundation should share the same base and according to your skin type. Otherwise, they will repel each other or just slide off your face, making it difficult to blend into the skin together.
For eg. Using an oil-based primer over an oily skin can slip off the foundation even if the foundation is matte. Whereas, using mattifying primers over dry skin can chip off the foundation.
